Walt “Clyde” Frazier & Knicks Shots
So if you guys by any chance read my photography blog over at JOLIE JAMIE.
You will know I usually attend a lot of Knicks games every year, and i’ve been a following fan since 05′.
My friend, Anthony Donahue is a buddy sports radio guy and is usually the one I attend all my Knicks games with.
Well if you know anything about Walt “Clyde” Frazier, you will know he is just as famous for his unique and eye popping fashion as he is for his killer basketball career.
I’ve seen and talked to Cylde for years now, and I have never…never.. never seen him wear the same suit. He doesn’t just pick normal suits, he always has the craziest pattern combos, or the best asscessories. I’m tempted to ask Clyde if I can photograph his closet. Maybe next season, because I can only imagine what type of outfits the man has stocked away.
Next up, Spike Lee as you might know, is claimed as the “Biggest Knicks fan in the world”. Well Spike is very proud of his team and usually wears some type of orange and blue concoction each time I see him. For this game, which was Game 4 of the 2011 playoffs, Spike dressed up with a nice orange hat, suit and tie. Don’t let him fool you though, he was wearing some basketball kicks with the suit and tie. He is at a basketball game, ya know!
Even though the Knicks got swept in the playoffs, we were still excited to be in it (for the first time since 04′) and i’m almost sure that next season will be fantastic!
Just Blaze!

Brook&Lyn Boutique
In 2008 Mimi was named of New York’s top bloggers by Huffington Post. She took that momentum and launched her own fascinating pieces and boutique- BROOK&LYN. Read more about her here.
I first noticed these pieces by Brook&lyn when I was perusing eccentric Susie Bubble’s blog “Style Bubble”. You can see Susie wearing the “Surrounded by Night solo body roped necklace” below.

Brett Favre doesn’t wear Wrangler Jeans
Hello everyone I’m back! I was stranded on an island the past few months and had no access to the internet. No, that didn’t happen. The honest truth, I was busy trying to hurdle the corporate ladder and boy did I hurdle that bitch. Anyhow enough about me, time for some fashion!
Now I think I make a decent living in NYC but I have a major problem with jeans that cost too damn much. Why do I have to pay $300 for a pair of jeans? I mean I understand that the material used on many of these jeans is far superior to the material used in Brett Favre’s Wranglers, but is it worth $280 more? With this in mind I decided that I would try to find some nice, somewhat inexpensive jeans. So here is my first brain fart on nice inexpensive jeans;
After discovering that I had exactly $33.78 left on a Gift Card for the GAP I decided to explore their Flatiron Store on 18th Street. I went directly to the Jeans section and immediately fell in love with the color and style of their 1969 Selvage Jeans. I had originally grabbed a pair of straight jeans, but somehow decided to try the skinny ones too.
The Fit: I tried the Straight Fit and even though they looked well, there was something about them that just wasn’t me. So I decided to try the skinny ones. Now I’m not a big fan of skinny jeans because I have ridiculously muscular calves and no I don’t have implants (I got them from my momma, lol). Anyways I tried the jeans on and I was easily able to slide in them. Now maybe I had lost weight, but then I thought about what I ate for lunch that day and immediately that thought went away. The jeans fit very well. They weren’t aggressively tight, had more than enough space in the crotch area (big boys need a lot of crotch space) and somehow my muscular calves fit perfectly in them. I won’t lie I checked myself out in the mirror for at least 5 minutes, lol. So the fit for the skinny jeans was perfect to say the least. My next question to myself was, “how much are these?”
The Price: For the most part good quality Selvage jeans cost a pretty penny and knowing this I expected the Gap Jeans to be somewhat pricey. To my surprise the asking price for the jeans was only $89, which nowadays is considered a bargain. Additionally the Gap likes to run these random sales all the time so there is a chance you can probably grab a pair of these jeans for 60 to 70 dollars.
So what did I do with the jeans? I popped the tags, put on my Super Bold Tan Wing Tips and had a good night. And yes, I did have a shirt on; it was a very nice shirt. Till next time, look at yourself in the mirror before going out, seriously.
Frassy
There is so much going on in the above photos. This is Frassy.
Her style leaves me gitty and her use of Cheetah. Ahh well, Her use of Cheetah is perfect.

Fashion Mash-up
I definitely love all four of these looks.
I know, I know.
Having The Blonds…on the same page as Ralph Lauren or 3.1 Phillip Lim. BUT, I can’t help my appeal to each side of the fashion spectrum. To go completely wild, and embrace a Blonds corset or ensemble, and then choose a classic RL dress.
